The way that i work is:

  • Integrative

I have been trained in different theories of therapy. I integrate different approaches in my work including humanistic, psychodynamic, trauma informed thinking, somatic and body work, CBT, mindfulness and neuroscience.

I explore your past, present and hopes for the future, and also include other influences that can impact us, for example, the socio-political climate, different cultures, value systems and expectations and intergenerational experiences.

  • collaborative

I believe that you cannot be squeezed into one specific approach or model. I tailor my approach based on your goals, expectations and what you might find helpful.

I work transparently and build-in regular check-in’s to explore what’s working and what can be done differently.

  • holistic and practical

I consider the inter-connectedness of the mind and body. I address the symptoms or the way in which your challenges manifest in your thinking, bodily sensations and feelings but also going deeper into their root causes.

I believe it is important to equip clients with practical resources and techniques to help support them in the present and in the future.
